    Smile solution

i just had the same problem, and to solve it, i shortened the file name significantly and it worked

    instead of
    Futurama - S02E01 - A Flight To Remember [dd].avi

    try
    0201- A Flight To Remember

    or something similar

Just for some reasoning. Internet Explorer likes to abuse the FTP protocol and connect too many times. Because the XBOX only accepts 1 connection at a time it will just keep asking for a password even though the real reason is that there are too many connections.

FileZilla also likes to connect more than once. To remedy this goto:

    Edit - Settings

Then on the left choose "File Transfer Settings" and on the right side untick the box "Use multiple connections to transfer files"

Also on FlashFXP if the file name is too long right click it in the transfer box and its either properties or target or something (From memory) and then click remote and you can change the name in there.

    Hope that helps.

he already fixed the problem, and it was the xbox's FatX harddrive format that was the problem- ie filename longer then 42 char
