Default Hi, first time here.. but need some help!

Well.. it has to do with Visual Boy Advance.

I have the Emulator (version that works with Emerald AR codes), a Pokemon Emerald ROM, an Action Replay v3 and the Pokemon Emerald cartridge.

What I need help with is getting my save game file on the VBA to work on my AR and upload into my Emerald cartridge.

At first I was having trouble creating the save game file, but that problem is resolved. Now that it's being recognized by my AR program.. it isn't being accepted by my GBA game.

A save game I downloaded from GameFAQs works perfectly, goes from PC to AR to cartridge.. I get a message saying the other file is corrupted and has been deleted, using last good file (which is the save game file) and I load it.. save, and its all good. With MY OWN file.. it goes from PC to AR to cartridge.. but the game says this file is corrupted and damaged. Then my only option is to start a "New Game."

I consulted a friend.. and he said try to save the save game file in a different format.. because the file may be too small. As mine was 64kb and the one from GameFAQs that worked was 68k. And he said this problem/error message happened with Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire of files being too small.. so I tried EEPROM 64k, and EEPROM 128k under Options>Emulator>Save Type. Still nothing..

Any ideas as to what to do? Any and all help is much appreciated! Thanks!

I have the same problem,I can't import my save in my fire red game.

Pokemon use FLASH 128 save type not sram or eeprom.

Try FLASH 128 and post what happens...
