Thread: N64 not opening 7z files

  1. #1

Default N64 not opening 7z files

Do any of the N64 emulators load 7z files?

    I am using Project64 does this have a feature/pluging for 7zip roms?

    Thanks, Squishy

Apparently no, you may want to unzip and rezip them as zip file.

Defeats any true purpose or convenience provided by compressing them in the first place if you just unzip something when you play it. Just that much extra effort

No, zip your roms saves you some free space, and the supposed slowdown it causes, with today's PC would be almost nothing.

Unless your PC is very old. Unzip and play them is highly recommended if you have extra space on your hard disk storage.
