Question about trading between systems..(pokemon)

Is there anyway I could trade between two roms..like run two versions of the rom & trade between each other?? just wondering, help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about GB or GBA?

For GBA, check this thread, you'll need VBA Link. Not every games work though

For GB/GBC, the only emulator capable of link gaming it's TGB Dual
