I like the idea of microsoft wanting to make thier future product better
but also at the same time i think its Microsofts version of Windows with
    spyware built into it

ps. when my computer crashes and asks me to send and error report
i never send it in fact i disabled the feature completely

yeah i agree but i dont want microsoft to know nothing about what files i have in my comp (not that i have any thing to hide)
but i wast so much time trying to avoid spyware that having an OS that has
spyware built into it is not my thing

ill keep LH installed seeing as how i have Two extra HD's in my comp
but WinXP will be the one ill use mostly

    **edit**
Good thing is that you can disable the "black box"
just like you can disable error reporting on XP

There should be a way to disable that "data recorder" the_g_host. Don't worry about it.

    well In my opinion:
Microsoft has all the right ideas For this OS
They added alot of little extra features that make
using windows alot easier. I can hope the final version is
nothing like this though, because it is still very much like windows XP
in a way. (i.e: It still uses the same security center that they used
Windows XP, and also theres still that damn product activation) though i only been using it for about an hour or so.
im pretty sure ill find more things that remind me of XP.

I recommend that every one with an extra HD or a partion with atleast 8gb
of free space to try it. But do not install over your current OS, its just not worth it as this is still in the early stages.

Microsoft has outdone themselves with this one.

    yeah I know
but I still cant find how to disable it
Longhorn hasnt crashed on me yet but i know that LH gives you an option
to choose weather you want to send the data or not
also you can choose what data to include in the report.
Its good to know that LH doesn't send the data automaticly

overall this is going to be a great OS when its completed

oh and tested some emulators on it and they work
    just as I expected
    Spoiler »
