well no RH 9 was crap, and so is fedora core 1 - come to think of it ALL of there .0 builds have been crap since day 1.... they are just buggy

As to the rh90 bit, go to the package manager, and install the development packages, (mabey even some of the x - development stuff depending on the needs of the emulator) that should give you enough
The reason I said that, was RH 9.0 wont install most of that by default - as others usually do MDK and SuSE both will....
Its just a pain in the ass to get RH 9.0 to work they way you need it to...
