Problems copying roms...

Im new to this forum and basically i wanted to know how you get roms to work on the xbox. When i download roms from the sites it saves as a zip file. Then what im doing is copying them straight to a dvd-r disc. But when i put the disc in my xbox it just says its a blank disc. Would some1 please fill me in on how to get roms to work on the xbox that you downoad from your pc? thanks

you need to install a mod-chip in your xbox before you can play back-ups
or use it to emulate other games

or use it to emulate other games

if thats even possible

my xbox is already modded and i have a few emulators includin mame x. Im basically trying to download roms from the net and gettin them to work on my xbox, but im havin problems
