You need to have to download area51.chd not only the area51.zip. Also, try to use MAME32 as it is very simple to use.
Put the zip file into the ROMS folder. Make a new folder called Area51 (under the roms folder) and put the chd in there.
ok so i at least understand how to work mame now... thats a good start. i got the rom file, but when i downloaded the chd file, it came up as a torrent file.... what now?

ABC it's my personal fav bt client. Based on BitTornado's great core, offers very nice options like limit download rate(the first one to do so afaik), upload rate manager to auto skip slow downloads to faster ones, and of coz schelude task. And everything very easy tu use to its nice gui. I truly recommend it
