Problems with Xenogears

I started the game, but there was no sound at the intro or the intro cutscene. When its over the sound is fine tho. I'm not sure if it continues throughout the game's cutscenes. Also When it shows the town being attacked in the beginning , everything is dark, and I can't see what's going on, just the text boxes. A similar thing happened while i was playing Crono Cross, when you go inside kid's memories in the burning house. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I have the sound fixed, but I still don't know how to fix the black screens.

Did you use ePSXe 1.6.0?

If it is, then you should use ePSXe 1.5.2 as many users have a problem with it. (But except me. Funny though.)

Secondly, tell us the plugins you'd use along with the PC specs.
