1964 0.9.9 help PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSE!!!!!

Hi. I downloaded and installed this N64 emulator last week and loved it! But starting 3 days ago, for some reason, whenever I load up Mario Kart 64 the game starts and everything but I am no longer able to exit out of the emulator nor can I choose any options. It's like everything around the emulator freezes but the emulator itself still works (but not it's options) and I can still play games on it. I tried clicking on options, file, anything using the mouse but it doens't work anymore. I can't even access anything on my PC while the emulators running now so I'm forced to pull the plug to reboot my PC. I've ran many spyware and trojan remover programs and found nothing! I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling 1964 0.9.9 and it still freezes everything around it.

I really like this emu it plays Mario Kart 64 at full speed on my PC with great sound and everything and I don't want to get rid of it. Why is it doing this to me now? Is this some kind of bug or glitch in the program? And can somebody please help meh?!

What plugins are you using?

I use the default plugins for most of my games (which are fantastic). And I use Azimer's Audio v0.30 (Old Driver) for Mario Kart 64 because it works better with MK64 and doesn't make popping sounds like schibo's audio plugin.
Even with this plugin I did not have any problems with this emulator.

Is there any mouse emulation enabled or something? I'm experiencing such things when using the mouse for control stick emulation. If not, try changing input plugin.

OMG! You're right!!! I changed the input plugin and now everything works!! But this doesn't make any sense. When I first downloaded this emu I used the default input plugin and everything was working perfectly up until three days ago. Weird.

By the way, try disabling anything controlled by the mouse.
