So i'm trying to patch a specific gameshark code that lets you BLJ anywhere (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0APGsYKN5hg (more specifically, with the rapidfire part appended)) to a rom, however the gameshark code does not start with 80 to 81, which are the only kinds of codes which can be patched according to this (https://sites.google.com/site/messiaen64/patching-gameshark-codes):
[ Warning: this conversion will only work for RAM addresses which range from 0x80246000 to about 0x80333000 ]
However, this gameshark code would be really useful in certain cases when i'm attempting to test something that would be usually impossible without something like it, but i do not know if it is truly possible to patch a gameshark code using the method in the link. Is there a way to do this, and if so how, and if not, is there an alternative that would also work?
