That's what I thought, too. But then I noticed that there seemed to be some discoloration in certain spots that is consistent with what you'd expect to see on an older console playing through, say, a VCR or such.
I didn't notice any VCR artifacts, I assumed it was just the WMV encoding making all of the poo. I might watch it again, more suspiciously next time.
I considered that, but I still think it was played through a VCR. Hard to tell with the relatively poor quality. Still, even if it was through an emulator, all cut up, each of the levels seem to be whole sessions. That's impressive enough in it's own right.
Yeah, even if it was cut up it would be impressive, as making the cannonball bits seem seamless is just as hard as actually performing it for real.
