Thread: Is there a way to convert these save state files? (Genesis)

Default Is there a way to convert these save state files? (Genesis)

I have some GSX files on my Windows 10 machine, and I am pretty sure those are the save state files for my Fusion (Genesis) Emulator.

I procured a Vita and have RetroArch on it. I would like to somehow get the GSX save states to the RetroArch emulator being used.

Is there a way to convert? Rename the file? Where does it go?

Any help would be appreciated, I do not want to start over

Retroarch on windows primarily uses Genesis Plus GX and Picodrive, now if you are using the "standalone" version of one of those emulators you can probably move the save there. For the Vita I have no idea what core retroarch is using but it is most likely not Fusion.

Example for a save location: Retroarch\saves\Genesis Plus GX\game-name.srm (the location may be different based on your settings)
