Ridge Racer problem.

Hello!

I am using on psx (psxfin) emulator, i run the ridge racer on psxfin and i get the error: "CD not usable: Failed to open file". How to fix CD not usable: Failed to open file? I downloaded the japanese ridge racer on coolrom. This is Track 01-13 and not single bin file.

This is most likely a multi track game rip. You have to run the ".cue" file, this will tell the emulator how to use the multiple bin files properly.

Aaand, NO NO NO! Lefferis_D not say the running the .cue file and normal moments on psxfin. How to fix "CD Not Usable failed to open file"?

I'm finally posting: Using DAEMON Tools, (with an ridge racer japan cue), get the "İlgili CUE dosyası bulunamadı" (means "Corresponding CUE file not found"), how to fix it?

I found the same file as you and was able to check the cue file. Somebody did a messed up job in renaming the files.

Open up the cue file in a text editor and start fixing the names of the bin files. The cue file you have should be this:

Start renaming each bin file to match that and you should be fine.

Example:
change FILE "Ridge Racer (J) (Track 01) [SLPS-00001].bin" BINARY
to FILE "Ridge Racer (Japan) (Track 01).bin" BINARY
