Dolphin 5.0 crashing with xbox controller

I recently upgraded from a cheap logitech controller to a wired xbox controller. But when I try to configure the controls for the pad dolphin crashes before I can even save anything. I tried to updating the controller driver but it was already up to date. This doesn't happen with any other controller and I seem to be the only person with this problem. Any advice?

This is common, kill the controller ini file ( I forget the name) its in your documents and settings folder (aka users ) in the dolphin folder. Also make sure no rumble features are on.
