Thread: Choppy Framerate on N64 Emulator

Question Choppy Framerate on N64 Emulator

So I tried running Mario Party 3 on Project64 1.6 and the frame rate drops to about 26 - 30 frames per second when loading high polygon models. How do I increase the frame rate?

To be honest there aren't any options in PJ64 1.6 to increase the framerate, but what you could try is go into task manager and set project64 to a higher priority. I doubt it will work, but its something to try!

Putting the emulator on high will increase by some amount but the only real way to do so is to upgrade the cpu. Now if you mean frame skip, then look for the option to sync video to audio.
Original, the only way to play.
