epsxe won't work on windows 8.1 PC
So I started using epsxe on my laptop. Everything works fine. I download all the necessary things for epsxe (epsxe, BIOS files, plugins, isos, etc.) onto my PC, yet whenever I try and run an ISO is says that windows has stopped working and everything crashes and closes. I have no idea why it works on my windows 7 laptop, but not windows 8.1 PC. Any suggestions?

truth 8.1 suck why ?
its simple
: no backwards compatibilty (many things cant work)
emulators are mostly on 7,Xp
those OS'es was best and still are for gaming
especialy xp for old games
8.1 and 8 also 10
so throw it back many things cant run on 8 sorry man/women :d
all isues was fixed on 7 and XP
can also be hardware /software problem
but im not give 8 also 10 even for worst enemy
those OS'es just suck

becuse xp is too old please use 7 it will work like a charm
im think most updated now is linux
so use most recomended win7

Wow jeruka9-san , that was hard to read
But jeruka9-san is right, 8 and 10 are not that friendly to emulation yet. This always happens, just give it more time. You can also try running the game in compatibility mode. right click the exe file and go to properties. There is a compatibility page.

so adadi that is the naked truth im think it will not change *yet
8 and 10 are not popular because of their *poorness and law anty pirates
so on 10 you will not play on pirates
and on 8.1 always will be something wrong because just like ulao write there is no 100% compatibility
which feature XP and win 7 have
so choose things for 8 or 10 or just test what work and what not
