Garry's mod server hosting with or without ddos?

Hey guys,
im interested to rent a garry's mod server (gmod) look at the first and seventh host http://nazeboo.com/server-hosting/ga...erver-hosting/ why is the host without ddos protection CHEAPER?!
Is ddos going to cause lags to my server?
Do you play gmod?
Would you join my server?

Well, DDOS is a form of attack usually aimed to bring a server down (crash it or make it inaccessible). The servers without protection are cheaper because the host will not be payed extra to help protect them in case of an attack.


And yes, a server under DDOS attack will be laggy.

Ok it makes sense a host WITH ddos to be more expensive, but look host nr2 vs nr3, the ddos comes cheaper (slightly).
Yay so ddos or not lags will be always there.

Keep in mind that you are not comparing two products from one company, nr2 and nr3 are offered by different companies.
