Crusin USA/CRusin world how to work them?

Hey iv got crusin usa rom for mame when i load it up gets to the colaberate controles bit ''take hands of pedals and stearing wheel and press enter''
how do i get past this bit?

Everything i press on the keyboard and joypad does nothing help

i pressed f2 and got past it but the games really choppy and my computer is p4 3.2 x800 por 1 gig ram

Try switching to D3D rendering, in the game options menu.

It probably won't help much overall because the game played like ass last time I tried it, I think I was having sound issues or something of that nature after I got past the video
