n64 controller to pc USB adapter Issues

I bought myself a USB adapter for my PC so I can use my N64 controllers on my PC but im having some Detection issues with it. I'm using project 64 and I'm trying to set up the controllers. I can get every button to work except the Stick no matter what I do the emulator wont read that its there every other button gets set just fine just not the joystick. Ive gone into windows and did a gamepad configure there and the stick reads just fine. Ive tried the 3 basic plugins that come with Project 64 but none of the read it. Any help would be great.

Ok using n-rage (my favorite ) you set the digital udlr under the top left. For the analogs (main stick) you set that on the bottom right. So when using this plug-in what set is not working?
