Why is this?

Hi everyone im new to this so dont flame me to much,

well im starting to play crono cross and i can set it up perfectly play it etc etc . but it seems like i have to choose between having really great charater models, monsters , battle scenes and really crappy back drops like the world map and such , or the other way round crappy charaters and great back drops i cant seem to find a plug in that will allow both i just find it kind of strange because i can see that both are there just why not at the same time ? thanx for any help and like i said i am new to this , i just unsure what to choose at the moment if i want the battles to look cool or to have nice graphics when walking around. argh what a choice , seems like i want have this choice with other games tho i flicked on legend of mana and that just looked crap all round with the setup that made crono crosses charaters look great , ok i think you get the idea . im really sorry im a terrible speller . thanx in advance

There are some good spot and bad spot whatever you used the plugins. That's all I have to say in the meantime. Better double check with the game myself.
