"Save State/Load State"... What happens to my saved games and where do they go......?

What if I wanted to refresh my computer or transfer all my files to another computer. What happens to all the saved games? I know the Nintendo emulator have a save as option which saves games as a file. I didnt see a Save As or Save State As option on the PS2 emulator. Are my saved games safe with PCSX2?

Which ps2 emulator do you use? Usually the saves are stored where the emulator program is, or if not it would be in My Documents under your emulators name.

PCSX2 has a folder called memcards where the program is located. The saves are there in the form of emulated memory card files.
