Lightbulb Best emulator to play Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island??

snes9x and zsnes had issues with this game due to superfx 2. ending was ruined: video was either too fast or too slow.

I'm playing SMW2 - YI on higan and SNESGT, not finished yet... can they run the ending smoothly, without ruining the climax?

older versions of snes9x had issues with superfx2 but most of them are fixed in the 1.52 & 1.53 versions as well as some test versions of snes9x released in 2015.

the SMW2 YI video ending plays smoothly with snes9x 1.53 on my old custom built computer (intel pentium d 945 3.4ghz w/ 2Gb of RAM) and using Windows 7 x64.

Sorry for the necro, but I'm having the same issue with the ending playing too slow.

Despite what the user above said, I'm using snes9x 1.53 with near identical or better comp specs and still having this issue. I've also got a weird graphic issue where the stork's sprite would flicker and get replaced with a cloud sprite section for a moment every 10-20 seconds. I was originally assuming there was some setting that could fix this, but messing around with various things didn't work out.

    Why, Higan of course...

The only issue is it can require a beefy computer. The latest version has helped that some.
Original, the only way to play.
