Thread: Emulators disabling USB devices?

    Default Emulators disabling USB devices?

    Hey,

I'm experiencing a rather annoying and odd problem when trying to run EPSXE, PCSX-R and PPSSPP emulators.

It's disabling all my USB devices, this includes mouse, keyboard and my USB sound card. Any idea why this might be happening? The emulators boot fine by the way, it's just this that happens.

That is very very odd, where did you download your emulators? Do you gain control over your usb devices when you turn off the emulators? What system OS are you running?

The only way this is possible is if a usb device filter is installed or one of the devices has a power surge.

Two ways to figure it out.

    1) remove all usb devices. run emulator, if still an issue its not a device.
    2) remove each usb driver (all hubs, HID, and anything that uses USB). You will need to do this one by one until you see what driver is doing it.

Things like virtual USB devices or development stuff will be prime suspects.
Original, the only way to play.
