Thread: Sound Problems

    Angry Sound Problems

    Can anyone help.

I have run a couple of games - GTII and G Police, and the sound slows down/speeds up according to the frame rate.

In GTII it seems only to do it on the menu screen, but in G Police it does it when I am flying, epsecially when turning.

I also have problems with getting the tracks that are on the CD to play as BGM, on Nightmare creatures for example, which kinda ruins the atmosphere...

Plugin's I am running are Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.75 and Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41. PC spec is P4 with HT, GeForce2 MX400 and on-board sound; Abit SG-72 mobo.

Cheers if you folks can help.

Try to make an image file using isoproducer or any program similar. Then run ePSXe with the ISO without running a CD.

I tried isobuster, to make the iso, but it saved it to a folder that I couldn't open. Forums say to rename the file .bin, but I didn't know which part?

    Any pointers?

    Cheers

Never tried ISOBuster personally. But did you try to save it to another place? And also, you can't rename it into bin file as ISO and BIN are totally different format.

Use other programs in case that still didn't work.

Managed to get the ISO file sorted, and that seems to have done th trick. I also changed the settings in Pete's OpenGL driver to read only, and that made it run a lot faster too.

Thanks for all your help folks, it's been useful
