vba codes help

I am trying to use cheats for Legend of Zelda:A Link to the Past for VBA. When ever I type a code into gameshark or codebreaker the window where you type the cheat into closes and the cheat isn't in my list.It doesn't say that it is the wrong format or that it isn't a code,it just closes and nothing.I tryed all the cheats gameshark.com and codebreaker.com.What can I do????

I'm having another problem too, I just didn't want to start a new thread over it. I'm trying to enter a code for Pokemon Fire Red. It requires something called a "code trigger" and I have no idea how to do that using VBA. Here is the code walkthrough so someone might be able to understand and help me...

How to use 'Pokemon Modifier' code.

Enter the 'receive pokemon' code;

..choose a 'code trigger' (code triggers are used to activate codes directly beneath it)

Code Trigger: [Press R+B+Up]

..place the 'pokemon modifier' code directly beneath the 'code trigger'.

Pokemon Modifier

..choose the 'ID Digits' of the pokemon you'd like to receive;

..now replace the 'xxxx' of the 'pokemon modifier' with the 'pokemon ID Digits'.

To activate the code you simply press the button combination of the 'code trigger' you chose (this sets the type of pokemon you'll receive).

Next we activate the 'receive pokemon' code by pressing L+R+Up.


..of course you can use the different triggers to receive different pokemon,
