Hey! my problem is with the control > input.
I bought a Nes usb controller and all button configurations were right except the B' button. When i wanted to pick up the turtle shell using b my character keeps jumping as if im spamming the button. Like when i want to get a run up to fly, mario instead just keeps jumping. :S How can i rectify this?

Best to test things from the OS first. I dont know what OS you have but in control panel there is a gamepad config/test app. When you press buttons the numbers below light up, what happens when you hit B?

If nothing then it could be a bad adapter, or dirty button. In the case of a button, you would have to open it up and clean with alcohol.
