Language patch for FF12 ZJ problems

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, but the forum (ps2 zone) for where I got the patcher doesn't seem to work (couldn't register + malware warnings).

I'm trying to apply the language patch (FFXII Int: ZJS English Conversion Patch by ffgriever v0.22) to FFXII international: zodiac job system. These are the instructions in the readme:

"You can just make sure that you have "ff12us.iso" and "ff12zj.iso" in the
same directory as the main executable. Then just double click the patcher
and wait until it's done."

I got both the ff12us iso and the ff12zj iso, and I ran the patcher. However, the output from the process was only 800mb, and won't run on PCXS2. The output should be around 4GB, since that's what the individual ISOs are, and this one combines the zj one with the english language from the other. Does anyone have any idea why the patcher doesn't complete?

EDIT: I've tried redownloading the ISO's, and they both seem to work separately. I also tried running the patch several times, and the outcome it not always the same (ranging from 700 to 800 mb).
