black screen when loading

Hi all, sorry to be a bother

I'm trying to play FF8 but when I try to run iso I just get a black screen. Thought it might take a while to load but waited 30 minutes and it hasnt loaded anything. Not sure if its the config settings, havnt got a clue what I'm doing.

emulator epsxe 170
game Final Fantasy VIII (E) (Disc 1) [SLES-02080].bin....this started iff as a 7z file but i turned it into an iso file, still got the 7z in the folder with it.

You should try using Epsxe 1.9.0
