Default Need help, Application not Found!

So last night I finally downloaded snex9x and installed everything and got it to work. I was so happy and excited, played Mario Kart for a little while then I downloaded Star Fox and some other stuff. Everything was working just fine so I went to sleep with plans to wake up early this morning and play these new games with my son for the first time. Literally the last thing I did was play Star Fox then close the program and closed my laptop.

So I wake up this morning all excited and my son is ready too and I try to open the program and guess what, everything keeps saying "Application Not Found." I can't open the games, I can't open the emulator itself, I even just downloaded ZNES and tried to open it and it says the same thing. Now I'm thinking there is something wrong with my registry but I am definitely not a tech expert of any kind. Can anybody help?

You need to be way more clear about things in this type of situation.

Star Fox then close the program and closed my laptop.
For example what does closing a laptop mean? If I were to guess, I would bet you meant shut down and more then likely it blue screened. If that is the case a file was truncated and thus is no longer there. The first thing you do in that situation is restore windows to a previous restore point (if you had the service running). If you dont then you need to do some detective work.

    1) run a disk scan on the C drive.
    2) Reinstall direct X. This is what all emulators would use, so since its effected by both snes9x and zsens is more then likely a dx file that got clobbered.
    3) Reinstall the emulator (may not be needed).

Google any of the above if you dont understand. This is all basic computer knowledge everyone should have using a computer. We are not here to tell you how, just google it. If you get stuck, let us know.
Original, the only way to play.
