Hello i have a problem with the controls on crusin usa (mame), does anyone know how to set the analogue paddle so you can move it left and right with out it "jumping"? i just want to play the game using my joypad, i have 2 analogue control sticks on it which is controlling the movement.

Do you know about the in game mame menu? You can set up any button to any controls you like (per game or global). If this does not help give us some more detail.
Original, the only way to play.

yep ive done that the problem is its just topsy turvey, before i got button x (on my joypad) to represent the gas pedal, now its only interested in analogue controls so i used my right trigger (which is analogue) to represent the gas pedal, AND NOW it does not like the right trigger so i use my left trigger instead for the gas, the problem is the left trigger is used for the brake so now my dam car is breaking and accelerating at the same time, i understand its not like configuring controls for a sega megadrive game but its just too inconsistent, do you or anyone out there just have a control map that you use for the game that you can upload as an attachment or type it out?

If you hit the ~ button you get advanced options, like sensitivity as I recall. try that.
