Need Supreme Help with Mame and Nebula

Hello there,
I have been in a pickle for months on how to use this two emulators to play Neo Geo games and even arcade games. I need someone to teach me how to use these emulator so i can play some games on them. Other than having these emulators, I have Callus, Gens, SNES9x, RockNESX, VisualBoyAdvance, and NeoPop. These emulators I had no problem in getting to work and play the games for them. I just find it so baffling that I can't get these arcade emulators to work for jack. Thank you for any help given.

For MAME:

1) Put your ROMs in the ROMs folder. Make sure they are in zipped format

and their file names matches the game.

Example:

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3's ROMs should be named umk3.

2) Start MAME by clicking on the arcade pic.

3) Now go to File > Audit All Games.

4) When that's done in the left panel click on "Working" Games and you

should see all avaliable games in the games directory. Simply double click it to

play it. When the game starts press TAB for a list of options (controller config

etc.)

For Nebula...

1) Place the ROMs in the ROMs folder, start Nebula by clicking on the galaxy

pic, go to "Emulation > Load ROMs > Rescan ROMs, and then double click

the game in the left panel. Everythings pretty straight forward after rescanning

roms.

Hmmm. I never got anything working in Callus.

If you're going to play umk3 make sure you've got mk3.zip as well.
