Emulators with 5-8+ player support

Does Project 64 support 5 players or more? What other emulator supports more than 4 players? What are some good non-sports games that supports 5 or more players?

This depends on the game first, but I was sure the n64 only supported 4 players? Maybe I'm wrong... Is there a multi tap for the n64?
snes does have 5 players and most emulators use them, as do most psx emulators.
