VisualBoyAdvance and Dolphin

Ok so I have just recently recently gotten the Dolphin and VisualBoyAdvance to play some of the older games i played to when i was a kid and remembered that in Sonic Adventures 2 Battle there was a way to access a "Tiny Chao Garden" by linking your Gameboy Advance or SP to the Gamecube system and it would transport your chao to your Gameboy and you could train it that way. I was looking though the Dolphin's settings and seeing if there was anything like that, and I saw a GBA controller setting but that was to play games like "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles" with multiple people. I also realized I would need a second display to play the Tiny Chao Garden as well, so I was wondering if there was a way to link the VisulaBoy with the Dolphin in order to do this or if there is anything out there that I can use to do what it is I am asking to do?

FYI: That is a pretty specific question that would be better served on the dolphin board. If you dont get an answer here I'd try that.
