Lightbulb So try and not cut my arms off (not asking for a 3ds emulator)

I'm new here, and would like to start off by saying hi...so hi. Now to business. So theres obviously differences between a dsi and a 3ds, and than there's the differences between a 2ds and a 3ds. Now unless there was a complete circuity redesign for the 3ds (I cant imagine there was, just not cost effective) since neither the 2ds and dsi have the 3d capabilities wouldn't there be some sort of link between the two machines? I realize we wont know for at least another 24-48 hours for sure but wouldn't it be much easier to code for a 2ds using existing dsi emulation code? I AM NOT A CODER, as much as i wish i did, i just do not know these things. So that's why I came here, for answers

    tl;dr: Is it easier making a 2DS emulator then a 3DS emulator?

It would kind of be the same thing, since the only thing they don't have is the fancy screen effects. 3DS emulated on the PC would be like a 2DS
