KEGA sound issues

Why is it on some of my SMS games some of the sound is messed up. Games like Sonic 2, Wonder Boy 3 Dragons Trap, the sound is fine. But Golvellius and California Games the sound is wrong. It's really ruining the master system experience for me. Is this a common problem? Is it meant to be like it?

I really don't know, I've never played on the hardware, so I wouldn't know whats normal or not. I forget if there are any sound settings you can mess with, but Kega is a feature heavy emulator. I think there was something about sound channels.
