Thread: SNES9X Clicking Sound During Emulation?

Default SNES9X Clicking Sound During Emulation?

I'm setting up my SNES emulator and I went with SNES9X. However, when running Mortal Kombat, there is a continuous clicking sound repeatedly happening in the emulation (non-stop). This happens on both my desktop and my laptop, so I've ruled out there being a hardware problem on my system.

I have literally tried turning off/on every combination of settings I can think of and nothing works. However, many other games emulate fine with no sound issues (Super Mario World, Mortal Kombat 2 for example).

Any idea what's causing this or how to resolve it in-case I have the same problem with other SNES games on this emulator?

    Thnx

I am having this exact same problem, the constant clicking in Snes9X for Mortal Kombat. The Mortal Kombat ROM works fine in Zsnes, but I really don't want to use that program.

Have you found a solution? I would be eager to hear one.

Edit: I thought I'd let you know I found a solution, you have to download the latest test build from here

I tried it and it works now, no annoying noise.
