Thread: Troubles running emulation

  1. #1

    Default Troubles running emulation

    Here are my specs:

    SYSTEM:
AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz, 256 MB Ram
    Windows XP
    SOUND
    Soundblaster Live
    VIDEO
NVIDIA GeForce MX 440 with AGP&X
    DRIVES
    Sony DVD/RW
    Imation R/W

    I downloaded
    ePSXe 1.6.0
    ePSXeCutor 1.0.6.3
    Delta 1.67 Beta

I configured the ePSXe with the following...

    Bios: scph1001
Video: Pete's Open GL 1.75 (Info below...)
Sound: ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2 (No config changes)
CDrom: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2

When I go to load/play a game, I put the disk in my Sony DVD and it goes to a blank screen... and then... nothing... no sound... no game... nothing.

    I'm at wits end.

Have you tried ePSXe 1.5.2? It's more stable than 1.6.0.

Maybe it has to do with the "Warning: cdrom read mode unknown" thingy

I doubt it's CDR plugin's problem. Try to use other plugins for likes of Sapu CDR plugin.

There's nothing you can do at the moment... pcsx2 plays at low speed so don't expect to run it at full speed now.

That won't help, I said you can't do anything about. You have either to buy a PS2 or wait...
