yes you guys all listed some very good games. im very suprised though you forgot (or maby just left out) zero wing. forget the crappy translation at the beginning and actually play the game...its fun! oh yeah and here is a little list to get

Flicky (mindless but addictive and so very fun!)

That's all that sprung to mind on the spur of the moment; I'm a Genesis fan for life! Still my favorite system.
