any help with Final Fantasy 8?

SO I know it's been like 14 years since 1999, and I should have beat this by now. But I have only Disc 1 and 4 of it now, and I am stuck at the beginning of Disc 4, I cannot backtrack to other areas, and I am doing terrible against this boss. I figured since I am broke and got spare time, I'd try and beat all the games I own. Anyone have any tips on this game, or know any good exploits? I don't have a gameshark, plus there aren't any to buy in my area, I looked.

I did try a Save editor called Hyme, didn't work with m save, I also have a DexDrive, so I was shoping to do i native, because my Laptop don't like to play PS audio all nice like. Also form reading the guides, looked liek I rushed my save, I can't believe I only have 6 of the summons. Hacking may be my only hope besides playing it over and acquiring the two other discs, by legal means. ;D
