Default Emulator problem with Pokemon Fire Red

Hi, so I just download the visualboyadvanced and I'm trying to play Pokemon FireRed. When I first start up the game it says: "The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed". The game loads fine after that buy once I try to save the game it warns me that i'm about to overwrite an already saved file (don't have a saved file) and then I say yes and it says: "SAVE ERROR, Please exchange the backup memory".

Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks

Do you have a link to the rom you're using? And thank you

Yeah, we can't provide links on this forum to rom sites, so the best we can do in that endeavor is to just tell you to try a different rom, there are plenty out there that work, so you shouldn't have a problem finding one.
