Help transfer save files from Playguy to TGBDual

I recently got nostalgic and started playing a pokemon red rom on Playguy. However when I realized I wouldnt be able to trade I wanted to switch my emulator to TGB for the link function. However it doesnt seem to be that easy so here is my question:

How can I transfer my save data from Playguy to a format that is readable by TGB(or some alternative emulator that allows linking)?

What are the save file extensions? Does Playguy save the game with .sav format?

I found the solution, all you have to do is copy the .gbs file over to the save folder and rename it with the extension .sav
