Default Jpcsp: no sound in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

Alright, I came to post here, because emunewz forgot to send the goddamn confirmation email.
I am attempting to play this game, but, I can only get background music. No button clicks, no voices, no nothing.
I searched online for this, and I saw that the solution was installing sonicstage and decoding audio in the media tab. I did that, but STILL no sound.
    Any tips?

Have you considered trying a different psp emulator?

Which one? Pcsp has apparently been abandoned, and their new emulator pspe4all, is still too new to run anything decently. Honestly, Jpcsp is the only psp emulator sufficiently advanced to run this game.

PPSSPP is a new emu in the work, but last I checked it could just be the fact there isn't a great PSP emu yet.
