My friends says that it must be by that Steam thing. What does it do?
Steam lets you dl patches and stuff from the valve's website. You can also buy(dl from the website) the full games like hl2 and cs.
steam controls all half-life, cs, half-life2...etc games.

Added +mat_forcehardwaresync 0 to the command line. Fixed!
