Ocrina of time help please

I've been meaning to play LoZ OoT forever now but since I' used to at least the graphics of TP and SS. When I heard of the remake, I was ecstatic until I found out that it was for a platform that I do not have: the 3DS. So, would there perhaps be a rom and emmulator that could help me along the way? If not the 3DS, I guess that the n64 would suffice.

Right now I dont think there are any reliable 3ds emulators out there, so I think it would be best if you went with the N64 version.
