Thread: Assigning save/load key to controller

Default Assigning save/load key to controller

What can I say, 90% of the reason I use emulation is for save scumming. And I find it vastly more convieniant if I can assign buttons on my controller to save and load states. Is there any way to do this on the PCSX2? So far my google-fu has been unsuccessful at finding results.

    Thanks!

That's not possible for any emulator. You see the emulator controls must be on the keyboard and developers have made a unique Configuration file for savestates so that they can't be enabled with controllers!

I'm afraid that is simply not true. On the ZNES you can and I have assigned save/load keys to buttons on my controller. It seems like if it can be done on one emulator there are no reasons it couldn't be done on others.
