    Post Gameboy color emulator

ok i have so far downloaded 3 different linkable gameboy color/advanced emulators:
    BGB
    TGB
    VBA
    -------
Me and my borther try to play pokemon crystal togheter and be able to Link
and each one has a problem

BGB: i have set up controls and all and when i try me and my brother try to play, the one i have selected is the only one that can move.

TGB: me and him made it pretty far, we save, exit emulator, Come back and his save is gone and im sent back to my level 20's!!!

VBA: cant trade on GBC, but we can trade On all GBA games
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

any other emulators we can try
    or any fixes?

If i posted this in the wrong section of forum Let me know and ill move it
    Thank you

Rather than make a whole thread for this question, I'll ask it here since its somewhat related.
1.) You can trade on Pokemon games with emulators?? How??
2.) Also, will VBA run GBC games?

    1. there is a special version of VBA available on this side called vbalink that supports multiple instances of the emulator at the same time allowing you to trade. U will need 2 savegames and the controls are different for each instance of the emu you have open
    2. yes vba should run all gba/gbc/gb games
