Hello everyone, for the most part I have partially resolved the controller problems with the mame emulator. I'm still having problems playing Pole Position 1 and 2 but from what you all told me in a earlier thread, without original arcade hardware like the game's steering wheel, pedal and cabinet the game is almost unplayable.
But I can play other games on the Mame now like outrun and a couple of others with no problem. I've been using various keys on my keyboard. For instance, I use the arrow keys for steering and the shift keys for like the acceleration and brakes
But something else I was going to ask you all just for future reference, and this is to those who not only use the Mame emulator but for those who play racing games on it
What controllers or steering wheel/pedal sets do you all use? I might want to pick one of those up in the future and try it and see if they will work.
Let me know and I'll defiantly make note of them. Anyways, thank you all for your time!
