Minimum requirements for NES emulation?

Hi,

Does anyone know what the minimum requirements in terms of CPU speed, RAM, etc. are for NES emulation? Not for any specific emulator, just in general.

I don't know the specifics, but almost any modern computer will be able to run an NES emulator.

I know, but I'm planning on writing an emulator for an ARM dev board, and would like to know which dev board to go for for such a project, so I don't waste money on extra speed or power that is unneeded

1GHz processor
about it really almost any on board graphics will run it but as far as main specifications go thats all you would need

I have a old laptop with these specs:
Pentium 2 300Mhz
SVGA 6MB gfx
128 mb ram
windows millenium edition
and the emu works!
