I downloaded a ROM for Pokemon Pearl and I noticed that it ran extremely slow. Why and how can I make it faster?
Edit: I'm using DesmuMe, and my computer has 4 GB of Ram and a Quad-core intel processor. I'm also using the North American version.

First of all always post your pc specs,what emulator are you using,and which version of pokemon pearl is it (like europe,japan,North America).
